settling for mediocrity is just the saddest thing...
but even sadder is that half the people don’t even realize they’re doing it. live out mediocre lives under the delusion that they’re not. that they’re more than that.

just looked at the clock and saw it said ‘tuesday’. was confused.
perpetually tired. no, exhausted. i literally wake up, am tired. take a nap in the afternoon, am still tired. eat dinner, get tired. go out at night, tired all the way through. i am never not tired and that worries me slightly.

I agree that I find it shocking that many people don’t know who Paul McCartney is (enough that it was a trending topic on Twitter) and I agree that for all that he’s done not just with the Beatles but for the music world in general, you’d think he’d be a person that’s hard not to know

I don’t know how I feel about it being the year of The Artist in terms of awards this season. Well, I do know, I just don’t agree with it.
I saw The Artist quite a while back and I agree, splendid film. I also love how they brought back the silent black and white film. It was a joy to watch and I liked the homage to older day movies it paid and also the acting and directing....

even if you have a 4.0 gpa or money that never ends or a career that is taking off or a billion shoes in your closet or a fancy car in your driveway
that none of it matters if you’re not really living life.
too many people just float on by saying ‘i’ll do it next time’ or ‘my time will come’ or ‘that will be me one day’.

Since, at the moment, I can’t actually go any place, here are a list of places I dream of seeing before I die:
Angkor Wat, Cambodia. Currently #1 on my list of places desperately want to visit. What is it with me and ruins? I just find them fascinating in every way.
Machu Picchu, Peru. Will be on my list forever until the day I can cross it off.
Giza Pyramids and the Nile River, Egypt. I...
things are mleh and kind of bleh but this new mindset has really been helping me these days.
on another note, i may very well see london and paris and switzerland and maybe even austria this summer, so SCREW IT life rules.
